The K Bar Z Guest Ranch & Outfitters is a small, family owned operation offering quality service. Our welcome mat is always out and we are looking forward to creating new adventures for our guests. As a destination resort, we can design summer or winter fun for your entire family.
Our family specializes in warm, friendly hospitality which increases our circle of friends each year. In order to do this, our reservations are limited to 30 guests at one time.
As our guest, you will stay in a private log cabin sheltered in the pines at the foot of Cathedral Cliffs. Each cabin has a fireplace, private bath, bunks for 4 and a loft.
We invite you to awake to the sound of the breakfast bell, breathe in the crisp mountain air and enjoy the beauty that surrounds the place we call home.

Your Wyoming Playground
Many hiking trails are found around the K Bar Z. Take the trail along Crazy Creek or try hiking to the top of Beartooth Butte at 10,514 feet for the most spectacular 360 degree views in the country — be sure to bring your camera!
If the western way of life is new to you, take an overnighter. For the more adventurous, spend a week or two fishing high mountain lakes and streams or photographing areas rarely visited by humans.
We are situated in the Shoshone National Forest — our 2.4 million acre playpen!
